the Island. During the daytime in the hotter summer months temperatures may
reach more than 30º C, dropping suddenly in the evening, reaching temperatures
of up to -16,8º C in the winter. Annual rainfall
of about 490 mm. Depending on the location where we find
ourselves in the Park, average seasonal temperatures may vary between 1º
C (winter) and 23º C (summer). Important daily thermal differences.
Important snowfalls take place in the winter and the peaks
of the “Teide” tend to be snow-covered during quite some time.
